Summary

Beaten, Gyoro Gyoro sweeps the area with its eyes hunting for Orochi, and on sensing that he has died it starts searching instead for whoever bested him. One eye locks onto Saitama and is crushed at once, though not before it registers his bald head. Hearing that detail, Tatsumaki idly wonders whether the hero meant is Superalloy Darkshine. Gyoro Gyoro ignores this and presses about Orochi's fate, but Tatsumaki says she has no room to fret over anyone else given her own danger. When the adviser begs to be spared, she recognizes it as a mere flesh puppet and orders the true operator to emerge and apologize. Gyoro Gyoro instead lifts every eye she had torn free and looses volleys of psychic beams, all easily turned aside. Tatsumaki even compliments the refined control behind the technique and asks who trained it, then wrenches the real body loose, recognizing the figure as one of Fubuki's acquaintances.

At that moment Fubuki, walking with Bang and Bomb, halts abruptly. She tells them her sister is close and channeling a staggering amount of power, something Tatsumaki almost never needs to do. The remark puts Bang and Bomb on alert about just how formidable the monsters ahead might be.

Meanwhile King roams the corridors on his own after parting from the group, wishing he had not been left alone and soothing himself with the notion that he is a harmless microbe unable to affect or be affected by anything. A voice calls his name and startles him: it appears to be the hostage Waganma, who claims a monster is after him and demands King kill it and carry him to safety. As the boy moves in for a hug, the pounding King Engine flares, and King snaps that he cannot protect anyone no matter how adorable the act is. Taking this as its disguise being exposed, the creature is revealed as a shapeshifter and drops dead from sheer fright. Rattled, King resolves to go find Saitama.
