Henry Henderson's day opens with an early jog around Eden Academy, followed by a shower at the Cecile Hall boys' dormitory, a crisply donned suit, and freshly brewed tea. Dorm tutor Thomas Austin joins him for a cup and relays that the students give Henry the credit for the dorm's strong History midterm results. Henry attributes the scores to teaching history's human element and the ideas it produces rather than memorized timelines. The dorm mother arrives and accepts his invitation to join them.

Afterward he settles at his desk to write his family a letter, then reads to music from his phonograph as students stream toward the school below his window, exchanging morning greetings. At 7:58 a.m., composed for another refined day, Henry steps into his classroom only to find Damian, Emile, and Ewen fighting with Anya and Becky, and his face falls at meeting such inelegance so early.

Henry's meticulous morning routine unfolds: the jog, the tea shared with the dorm tutor and dorm mother, and talk of the History midterm. A letter home reveals family ties, and the chapter closes on the student brawl that greets him in class.

Short Mission 4 is a six-page extra chapter of Tatsuya Endo's SPY x FAMILY manga, numbered 27.1 and released on June 1, 2020. It is printed at the back of Volume 6, following Chapter 37, yet takes place shortly after Chapter 27 during the Midterm Exams Arc, matching its original digital release slot. The anime folds it into the opening of Episode 10, the dodgeball episode of the Stella Star Arc, swapping the midterm talk for a reference to Anya's Tonitrus Bolt on orientation day. The letter scene establishes that Henry's family includes a daughter and her husband. He appears alone on the cover, and the chapter marks the debut of the Cecile Hall dorm mother.
