RESOLVE

In the Karakura High classroom Ichigo replays Shinji's claim that he truly belongs with the Visored, while Uryu Ishida silently turns over Ryuken's bargain: his Quincy abilities restored in exchange for a promise to steer clear of Shinigami forever. Shinji strolls in beside Orihime and cheerfully hugs her, sparking outrage from Keigo and a murderous turn from Chizuru until Ichigo drags Shinji out into the corridor. Pinned against the railing and told to apologize, Shinji refuses and presses his case instead.

He warns that a Visored cannot reverse course once the symptoms surface, meaning Ichigo's inner Hollow will eventually devour him and destroy his friends, his future, and his very identity. Renewing the invitation, Shinji offers to teach him how to keep his sanity, all while Tatsuki watches with concern. Later, a weary Shinji is ambushed by Hiyori, who kicks and slaps him for taking so long, only for Orihime and Sado to reveal they have trailed the pair and to ask outright what the two want with Ichigo. At Karakura Hospital, Uryu makes his choice, telling Ryuken he wants his powers back and swearing never again to involve himself with the Shinigami.

Ichigo again rejects Shinji but is forced to hear the full warning about his inner Hollow. Uryu formally accepts Ryuken's condition in order to reclaim his Quincy powers. Orihime and Sado confront Shinji and Hiyori face to face for answers.

Viz renders the title simply as Resolve. The chapter is adapted in Episode 112. Flashback panels bring in Hollow Ichigo along with Renji, Ikkaku, and Yumichika.
