Lucien Dodge

In Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (studio Ufotable), Dodge voices Akaza in the English dub, an Upper Rank member of the Twelve Kizuki and a recurring adversary for the demon slayers. He also voices Kazumi, a grieving young man encountered over the course of the story. Akaza ranks among the higher-profile antagonist roles in Dodge's anime work, sitting alongside his other villainous turns and placing him within one of the most widely watched anime franchises of its era.

Born June 24, 1984, Dodge is an American voice actor whose work spans animation, anime, and video games. His anime roles include Waver Velvet in Fate/Zero, Maron and Chili in Pokemon, Takumu Mayuzumi in Accel World, and Mahito and Takuma Ino in Jujutsu Kaisen. In games he has played K1-B0 in Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, Yuma Kokohead in Master Detective Archives: Rain Code, and the title role in Dust: An Elysian Tail. He also voiced Metphies across the animated Godzilla trilogy, Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle, and Godzilla: The Planet Eater.

Beyond screen and game work, Dodge has narrated audiobooks for Live Oak Media and has appeared at the National Audio Theater Festival for six consecutive years. He has taken part in voice acting panels at conventions including T-Mode, Otakon, and NohCon, and has served as a guest instructor at New York University. His voice has also featured in commercials for brands such as Pop-Tarts, Minute Maid, Verizon Wireless, Kellogg's, and Chevrolet. Dodge lives in Los Angeles, California, with his partner, fellow voice actor Erica Mendez.
