Barry Kahn

Barry Kahn is introduced as the leading man in a Great Saiyaman movie being produced during the events of Dragon Ball Super. He is vain, arrogant, and obsessed with his celebrity status. When Gohan is brought onto the set as a stunt consultant and begins impressing the cast and crew with his natural abilities, Barry grows increasingly jealous.

Barry attempts to sabotage Gohan's marriage by photographing him in a compromising situation with his co-star Cocoa, then showing the images to Videl. When Videl sees through the scheme and remains unfazed, Barry's jealousy spirals out of control. He encounters the parasitic alien creature Watagash, which feeds on negative emotions. The creature bonds with Barry and transforms him into a monstrous giant.

The possessed Barry rampages through the city, kidnapping Pan in the process. Gohan dons his Great Saiyaman costume and battles the monster, ultimately separating Barry from Watagash with a powerful blast. After recovering, Barry has no memory of the incident and returns to his acting career, apparently no worse for the experience.
