Role in the Story

Carmine works closely with Magenta, the son of the original Red Ribbon Army's Commander Red, serving as his driver, advisor, and right-hand man. He helps manage the day-to-day operations of Red Pharmaceuticals, the legitimate business facade that conceals the Army's resurgence.

Carmine is instrumental in the planning phase of the Army's scheme. He compiles intelligence on the Z Fighters and identifies Gohan as the primary target, reasoning that neutralizing the scholar would remove the greatest obstacle to their plans. He also assists in recruiting Dr. Hedo, the brilliant scientist whose Android creations form the backbone of the Army's new military force.

Despite his strategic mind, Carmine is no fighter. During the climactic battle at the Red Ribbon base, he is quickly dispatched by Pan, who defeats him with just two strikes. His defeat underscores the gap between the Army's scheming and the actual combat power of even the youngest members of the Z Fighter family.
