Muscle Tower and Combat

Major Metallitron guards one of the upper floors of Muscle Tower in the frozen northern region. When Goku arrives to rescue the village elder from the Red Ribbon Army, he must fight through each floor's guardian. Metallitron proves to be an unusually durable opponent thanks to his mechanical construction. Physical attacks that would devastate a normal fighter barely slow him down, and he can take tremendous punishment without showing damage.

Despite his impressive durability and raw strength, Metallitron has a critical weakness: his batteries. During the fight with Goku, his power supply runs out at a pivotal moment, causing him to freeze in place. This abrupt shutdown ends the battle without a proper conclusion, allowing Goku to proceed upward through the tower.

Metallitron's design is an obvious homage to the Terminator, sharing the iconic appearance of a muscular humanoid concealing robotic internals beneath synthetic skin. He makes brief reappearances later in the original Dragon Ball series and in Dragon Ball GT.
