Maron appears during the Garlic Jr. Saga as Krillin's girlfriend, and her behavior immediately creates friction with the other characters. She is blissfully unaware of how her comments come across, frequently calling Chi-Chi and Bulma old or unattractive without realizing she is being rude. Her carefree attitude and good looks allow her to charm most men around her, while the women of the group find her insufferable.
Despite the comedic nature of her character, Maron does show some genuine kindness. She tries to help Gohan on multiple occasions and seems to genuinely care for Krillin. However, Krillin ultimately breaks up with her, feeling that he is not good enough for her. Ironically, she moves on almost immediately, confirming his fears about her shallow nature.
Maron is not to be confused with Marron, the daughter Krillin later has with Android 18. The similarity in names is intentional and serves as a callback, though the two characters are entirely unrelated.
