Role in the Story

Monster Carrot and his Rabbit Mob control a small desert village through fear. The townsfolk are so afraid of his touch-based power that they dare not resist his gang's demands. When Goku, Bulma, and the shapeshifter Oolong pass through the village during their Dragon Ball hunt, they run afoul of the Rabbit Mob.

Monster Carrot arrives and demonstrates his power by touching Bulma, instantly transforming her into a small carrot that he holds hostage. Goku, unable to attack without risking Bulma, finds himself in a difficult situation. He uses his Power Pole to fight Monster Carrot from a distance, carefully avoiding direct contact. After knocking the rabbit boss down, Goku forces him to reverse the transformation and restore Bulma to normal.

As punishment, Goku uses his Power Pole to carry Monster Carrot and his two henchmen all the way to the moon, stranding them there to make treats for the children of Earth. It is implied they perish when Master Roshi destroys the moon during the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament.
