Encounter with Goku

Princess Snake lives in an elaborate palace located along Snake Way, the lengthy path connecting King Yemma's checkpoint to King Kai's planet. She is apparently the estranged wife of King Yemma and has been living in her palace for a very long time.

When Goku passes through during his journey to train with King Kai, Princess Snake welcomes him with lavish hospitality. She takes an immediate romantic interest in Goku and attempts to convince him to stay with her permanently. Her attendants serve elaborate feasts and provide entertainment, all designed to keep Goku from continuing his journey.

When Goku insists on leaving, Princess Snake reveals her true nature. She transforms into an enormous serpent, the Goddess of Snake Way, and attempts to prevent his departure by force. Goku manages to escape by tricking her into tying herself in a knot around her own palace. Despite the confrontation, she survives the encounter and remains at her post on Snake Way.
