Biography and Story Role

Renso is a Saiyan from Universe 6 who formerly served as a captain in the Sadala Defense Forces, the military organization that protects Planet Sadala. He trained Cabba, who would go on to become one of Universe 6's strongest fighters. Renso is also the older brother of Caulifla, the leader of a group of Saiyan punks.

During the Universe Survival Saga, Cabba visits Renso hoping to recruit him for the Tournament of Power. However, Renso declines because of a leg injury that left him unable to fight at full capacity. He is a humble warrior who knows his limitations, and instead of overcommitting, he suggests that Cabba recruit his sister Caulifla, recognizing her raw talent and potential.

This recommendation proves pivotal, as Caulifla goes on to achieve Super Saiyan and even fuse with Kale to form Kefla during the tournament. Renso appears only in the anime and is shown to be proud of the fighters he helped develop, particularly when he learns of Cabba's ability to transform into a Super Saiyan.
