Biography and Story Role

See-Through serves as one of Fortuneteller Baba's five warriors whom challengers must defeat to earn a free prophecy. Yamcha volunteers to fight him after the team's first opponent, Fangs the Vampire, is defeated. The battle takes place over a pool of water, adding an extra layer of danger.

Yamcha struggles badly against the invisible fighter, unable to see incoming attacks. He attempts to track See-Through by listening for footsteps, which works until Fortuneteller Baba disrupts the strategy by singing loudly. Krillin, Puar, and Upa try pretending to cheer for See-Through to coax him into speaking, but Baba instructs him to stay silent.

Krillin devises the winning strategy by having Goku bring Bulma and Master Roshi to the arena. Roshi's dramatic nosebleed (triggered by seeing Bulma) splatters blood all over the invisible fighter, making him visible. With See-Through's invisibility rendered useless, Yamcha quickly finishes the fight with a Wolf Fang Fist. See-Through surrenders immediately, quipping that his mother was right about him not being cut out for show business.
