Goku vs. Tamagami Number Three

The battle begins without ceremony. Tamagami Number Three charges at Goku with a massive warhammer while Goku counters with his Power Pole, and the two trade devastating blows in front of a growing crowd of spectators. The Tamagami's raw strength forces Goku onto the defensive until the Saiyan transforms into a Super Saiyan, snapping the warhammer clean in half. With both fighters now empty-handed, the contest becomes purely physical. Goku escalates to Super Saiyan 2 and unleashes a Super Kamehameha followed by a Super Elbow Smash that finally convinces the Tamagami to surrender.

But the trial is not over. For his second challenge, the Tamagami places the Dragon Ball under one of several cups and shuffles them at blinding speed. Goku spots the trick immediately: the Tamagami never placed the ball in any cup at all, instead throwing it away during the shuffle. With both challenges cleared, Tamagami Number Three congratulates Goku and wishes him well.

Arinsu's True Ambitions

While Goku celebrates, Glorio secretly reports the victory to Dr. Arinsu. In the First Demon World, Gomah and Degesu review old footage and notice Arinsu collecting fragments of Majin Buu's body during Vegeta's battle with Innocent Buu, raising their suspicions. Arinsu, meanwhile, visits the witch Marba and commissions the creation of a new creature using those very fragments. Marba reveals that she was the one who originally created Majin Buu on Bibidi's orders millions of years ago, calling him a powerful but uncontrollable failure.

Majin Kuu is Born

To ensure this new creation can be controlled, Arinsu adds her own saliva to the mixture, binding the creature's loyalty to her will. The result is Majin Kuu, a smaller and more manageable being. Arinsu makes no secret of her ultimate goal: she intends to overthrow Gomah and seize control of the Demon Realm for herself, using Glorio and the Dragon Ball hunt as insurance should her primary plan falter.
