Two demon bandits steal the Dragon Ball at a hotel, but Goku and Glorio track them down and recover it quickly. The groups finally rendezvous in the Third Demon World, while Dr. Arinsu's new creation, the formidable Majin Duu, takes its first breath.
Exhausted from their journey, the group stops at a hotel for the night. Goku wears a bear hat as a disguise, but the precaution proves insufficient. Two watchful bandits in the lobby recognize him as the fighter who defeated Tamagami Number Three and deduce he must be carrying the Dragon Ball. That night, while Goku and Panzy investigate a commotion in the lobby, one of the bandits transforms into a werewolf to create a distraction while the other sneaks through a back window and steals the ball from their room.
Fortunately, Panzy had the foresight to attach a tracker to the orb. Goku catches up to the thieves near a cave, but they try to keep the ball away by tossing it between themselves. Goku recovers it with ease, and Glorio arrives to bind both bandits with a lightning whip before hurling them far into the distance. The group agrees to sleep in shifts to prevent further incidents.
In a parallel storyline, Vegeta's party arrives in the Third Demon World only to discover their plane has been stolen, likely by bandits Vegeta roughed up at a club the previous night. The two groups finally meet face to face, but the cramped plane cannot carry everyone. Panzy contacts Kadan for a second vehicle while Goku's group pushes onward toward the Second Demon World. The bandits return for revenge with reinforcements, only for Vegeta and Piccolo to dismantle them a second time.
In the First Demon World, Marba completes her work by adding a Saibamen seed as a final ingredient. The green liquid swirling within the cauldron spills outward and takes shape, forming a new being called Majin Duu. Dr. Arinsu wastes no time testing her creation, ordering Duu to defeat Tamagami Number One and retrieve his Dragon Ball. With a single word, the creature accepts the mission.
