One Against All

Episode 29 opens with Baby Vegeta questioning how Mr. Satan escaped infection. When he learns Satan hid inside Majin Buu, Baby turns violent, so Goku orders Buu to protect Pan and Mr. Satan. Buu converts them into chocolate, stores them safely inside his body, and flies away. Now it is Goku versus the world.

Baby taunts Goku, asking if he could truly fight everyone he loves. Goku stands firm and tries reasoning with Baby, pointing out that the Saiyans already paid for their sins when their own planet was destroyed. Baby rejects any notion of mercy. Trunks and Bulla then join the battlefield on Baby's side, turning the confrontation into a five-on-one assault against Goku.

The Limits of a Child's Body

Baby's infected followers attempt to convince Goku to join them, but Goku catches a critical slip: Baby Vegeta calls him Goku instead of Kakarot, something the real Vegeta would never do. Baby abandons diplomacy and decides to kill Goku outright.

With no other option, Goku powers up to Super Saiyan 3. The transformation sends shockwaves across the battlefield, but it proves tragically short-lived. His child-sized body simply cannot sustain the form, and Goku reverts to his base state after only a handful of exchanges. Baby Vegeta bombards him with energy blasts, pummeling Goku into the rocks. Even broken and barely conscious, Goku refuses to give up and pleads with Baby one last time to release everyone.

The Birth of Super Baby

Baby dismisses Goku's plea, claiming the ancient Saiyans showed no mercy to the Tuffles. The infected Saiyans circle around Baby Vegeta and pour their energy into him, triggering a transformation into Super Baby Vegeta. Goku acknowledges that Baby has become the most powerful being in the universe, yet still vows to destroy him.

Baby silences Goku with a punch, then gathers the negative energy of every person on the planet. This dark power fuels a second evolution into Super Baby Vegeta 2, who forms the devastating Revenge Death Ball and hurls it at the immobilized Goku. Majin Buu senses Goku's energy vanish entirely and delivers the grim news to Pan and Mr. Satan. Neither of them is willing to accept that Goku is gone.
