Goku tracks Bulma to Capsule Corporation for radar repairs, meets her eccentric parents, and gains a new traveling companion. Meanwhile, Commander Red distributes the boys photograph to every remaining Red Ribbon unit, marking Goku as a top-priority target.
Goku arrives at the gates of Capsule Corporation with a broken Dragon Radar and no idea how to use the intercom. A confused West City policeman phones the compound on his behalf, only to learn that Bulma is still at school. Rather than believe that a small boy in a turtle school gi actually knows the heiress of such a famous company, the officer lingers to verify his story. Goku soon catches Bulmas scent on the breeze and announces that she is already zipping home on her futuristic scooter.
Bulma is delighted that Goku has tracked her down and brushes off the broken radar as a trivial fix. She invites him inside, and the officer tags along hoping to get his own scooter tuned up. Dr. Brief then wheels into the room on a bicycle with a tiny black cat perched on his shoulder, and the sight of the legendary inventor leaves the policeman stunned.
Upstairs, Bulma repairs the radar and notices that only two Dragon Balls have been collected. Determined to help find the Four Star Ball, she reveals her latest invention, a wristband called the Micro Band that shrinks its wearer to the size of a mouse. Her demonstration is interrupted when her cheerful mother accidentally steps on her and then offers Goku a cup of sake.
At Red Ribbon Army Headquarters, Commander Red and Staff Officer Black receive a photograph of the boy who dismantled Silver and White. Red orders the image distributed to every unit with shoot to kill instructions. Back at Capsule Corporation, Bulma shrinks herself, tucks into Gokus shirt, and the pair ride Kinto Un into the sky, unknowingly carrying Dr. Briefs capsule case instead of her own.
