Battle of the Bleeders

Manga ChapterCh. 100

The Invisible Problem

Yamcha waves Puar and Upa aside, declaring he will handle the four remaining fighters on his own. Goku is disappointed to be sidelined again, but Yamcha reminds him that he has been starved for a real brawl far longer. Baba announces the next combatant, then informs a confused Yamcha that the man is already standing in the ring: Mr. Invisible. The match begins and Yamcha immediately starts taking hits he cannot see, swinging at empty air while his unseen foe lands shot after shot. Kuririn quickly realizes Yamcha cannot possibly win this way and urgently orders Goku to fetch Muten-Rōshi and Bulma from Kame House.

A Questionable Strategy

Yamcha discovers he can barely hear Mr. Invisible moving and manages one solid kick by tracking the sound alone. Baba sees what he is doing and begins loudly singing to drown out any audio clues, and Mr. Invisible takes full advantage. Yamcha begs for a visual, muttering that he just needs to see the man once. Goku returns right on cue, Kinto-Un dangling Bulma from one hand and Muten-Rōshi from the other. Baba finds the whole spectacle baffling.

Nosebleed Victory

Kuririn sets up his plan. He positions the old hermit face to face with Bulma, climbs onto the ring's edge behind her, and yanks her tube top down at just the right moment. The sight is too much for Muten-Rōshi. His nose erupts in a geyser of blood that sprays all over Mr. Invisible, finally outlining the man in crimson. Yamcha pounces, hammering the now visible fighter with the Wolf Fang Fist until he waves a white flag. Bulma slugs Kuririn for the stunt while Rōshi grumbles that he nearly died, pleased all the same. Baba chuckles and reminds the exhausted group that three fighters remain.
