Four Arms Against Two

Tien Shinhan wastes no time following through on his promise of a devastating attack. He plants his feet, concentrates, and executes the Four Witches Technique, sprouting two additional arms from his back. The crowd gasps as Tien now stands with four fully functional limbs, each one capable of independent strikes. He rushes Goku and unleashes the Eight-Arm Fist, a blinding flurry of punches from all four arms that overwhelms Goku's defenses. Goku finds himself unable to block every angle at once, absorbing punishing blows from fists he cannot track. Tien's advantage is immediate and decisive; with twice the arms, he controls every exchange.

Goku Adapts

Battered but refusing to stay down, Goku searches for a way to even the odds. He locks onto an unorthodox solution and uses his tail as a fifth limb, whipping it into the fight to catch Tien off guard. The additional appendage disrupts Tien's rhythm just enough to let Goku slip through the barrage. Goku accelerates his own hand speed until his two arms move so fast they appear to multiply, creating the illusion that he has sprouted extra limbs of his own. The two fighters collide in a blur of fists, feet, and tail, trading blows at a pace the audience can barely follow. For the first time since the technique was revealed, Tien finds himself matched strike for strike.

Taking to the Sky

Recognizing that the ground battle has reached a stalemate, Tien retracts his extra arms and leaps into the air. He hovers above the ring, demonstrating the power of flight. Goku stares upward, unable to follow. Tien crosses his hands into a diamond shape and begins channeling an enormous amount of energy. He announces the Tri-Beam, a technique so powerful it shortens the user's own lifespan with every firing. The arena falls silent as the energy builds. Tien aims the attack directly at the ring below, intending to obliterate the entire platform and guarantee a ringout for Goku. The chapter ends with the blast poised to fire and the outcome of the tournament hanging in the balance.
