A Blistering Exchange

Both King Piccolo and Tien Shinhan are visibly rattled by Goku's incredible fighting ability. Goku wastes no time, telling Piccolo to prepare himself. The Demon King fires back a warning: the moment Goku witnesses his true power will be his last breath. Goku responds by declaring that Piccolo stole too much from him and will not escape justice.

After a tense staredown, Goku rockets forward and drives his fist into Piccolo's face. The impact sends the Demon King toppling backward, crashing directly onto his spawn Piano. Tien watches in awe, barely able to track Goku's movements. Piccolo rises and charges at Goku in retaliation, but Goku sidesteps the attack and sweeps at Piccolo's legs. The Demon King dodges, and the two launch themselves at each other again. This time, Piccolo connects with a solid kick that sends Goku sailing backward.

Piccolo Reveals His Reserve

Goku recovers quickly from the kick and propels himself straight back at Piccolo, slamming a knee into the Demon King's chest. He follows up with a barrage of punches and finishes with another kick that staggers Piccolo. To everyone's surprise, Piccolo laughs. He admits that Goku is the first opponent who has ever inflicted this much damage on him. Tien cannot understand why the Demon King seems amused.

Goku tells Piccolo to stop holding back and fight at his full power. Piccolo acknowledges that Goku noticed his restraint. He explains that using his full strength shortens his remaining lifespan, but Goku has left him no choice. The Demon King begins to power up, and Tien senses an enormous surge of ki.

A Gust of Warning

Goku announces that he, too, can fight at full power. Piccolo scoffs at the claim as empty bravado. Without even throwing a proper strike, Piccolo casually swings his arm, and the sheer force of the motion generates a violent gust of wind that shoves Goku backward. Both Goku and Tien are stunned by the devastating power behind such a light, effortless gesture.
