After the humiliating obi incident, Tien Shinhan unveils the Multi-Form technique, splitting his body into four independent copies. The four Tiens surround Goku from all corners of the ring and unleash a coordinated energy barrage. Though struck by the assault, Goku remains standing and calmly announces he has already identified two critical weaknesses in the technique.
Tien Shinhan stares down at his fallen pants in disbelief, struggling to process how Goku managed to steal his obi without being seen. Even Piccolo, who is silently observing the battle from a nearby rooftop, acknowledges Goku's frightening speed. Tien concedes that Goku moved faster than his own eyes could track, but insists the match is far from over. He mentions that he has a devastating sure-kill technique in reserve. Before unveiling it, however, Goku casually hands the obi back. Tien hastily pulls his pants up and regains his composure. When Goku asks if the technique is the Tri-Beam, Tien explains that the Tri-Beam is too dangerous for both of them and consumes too much energy. What he is about to reveal is something different entirely.
Tien explains that his three eyes are no longer sufficient to follow Goku's movements, but twelve eyes would be more than enough. He folds his arms in front of his body and concentrates. His form shimmers and splits into two, and those two immediately split again, producing a total of four Tien Shinhans standing in the ring. Goku quickly recognizes that these are not afterimages. Every single one of them is a solid, physical copy with its own presence and fighting capability. All four Tiens announce in unison that this is the Multi-Form technique, and each one takes a position at one of the ring's four corners.
Goku finds himself boxed in with nowhere to retreat. On cue, all four Tiens fire energy blasts at Goku simultaneously from their respective corners. Goku leaps into the air to avoid the converging attacks, but the Tiens track his movement and fire upward. The blasts connect, engulfing Goku in a burst of energy. One of the Tiens tells Goku he should surrender, but Goku, still airborne and still standing, refuses. He reveals with quiet confidence that he has already discovered two weak points in the Multi-Form. On the rooftop, Piccolo smirks and silently agrees that the match belongs to Goku.
