Goku systematically dismantles Nappa, dedicating each devastating blow to a fallen comrade. The elite Saiyan warrior cannot land a single hit, and every counter-attack Goku delivers carries the names of Chiaotzu, Yamcha, Tien, and Piccolo. Vegeta watches with growing interest, recognizing that Nappa is completely outmatched and that his own turn to fight is approaching.
Nappa picks himself up, furious, and Goku tells him plainly that they are not in the same league. Krillin and Gohan observe from a distance, stunned by the transformation in Goku's abilities. Vegeta notes that Goku's battle power is entirely different from the level he displayed against Raditz. Nappa refuses to accept the gap and powers up for a full-speed assault, throwing a barrage of punches and kicks. Goku sidesteps every single one of them with ease, then reappears several meters away without even looking winded. Neither Krillin nor Gohan can track his movements.
Goku rushes forward and lands on top of Nappa's head, perching there for an instant. Nappa claps his hands above his skull trying to crush him, but Goku is already in front of him. A brutal punch buries into Nappa's stomach, and Goku declares it is for Chiaotzu. Nappa swings a kick in retaliation, but Goku ducks under it and strikes again, sending the Saiyan tumbling through the air. That one is for Yamcha.
Nappa barely catches himself before hitting a cliff face and fires an explosive energy blast downward. Goku deflects it with a kiai, a shockwave of pure willpower, then rockets upward and hammers Nappa toward the ground with a double-fisted overhead strike, dedicating it to Tien Shinhan. As Nappa crashes into a rock formation, Goku dives after him and delivers a flying kick in Piccolo's name. The impact sends Nappa blasting through an entire mountainside.
Nappa erupts from the rubble, screaming that he is an elite warrior and Goku is nothing but a low-class nobody. Krillin and Gohan can hardly believe the gap in power. Vegeta, however, has seen enough. He shouts at Nappa to calm down and think clearly. Nappa catches his breath and thanks Vegeta for the advice. Vegeta watches with quiet contempt, judging Nappa a fool. The prince recognizes that his own turn to fight has finally come.
