Goku Returns! Again!

Hiding in the Cave

Gohan, Krillin, and Bulma press against the cave walls as Frieza's soldiers streak past. Bulma checks the Dragon Radar and confirms the group carries four Dragon Balls heading straight for a fifth, located about fourteen kilometers away at the Namekian village Krillin sensed earlier. Krillin tells Gohan he noticed the second figure in the formation, and Gohan agrees the individual radiated overwhelming strength far beyond Vegeta. Krillin admits he froze for an instant just sensing that power. He decides to head for the village, and Gohan insists on joining him. Bulma protests being left alone, but Krillin assures her the cave is safest. She sets up a capsule house while the two warriors dash off, suppressing their ki.

Goku's Miraculous Recovery

On Earth at Wukong Hospital, Goku is doing sit-ups despite his injuries. Master Roshi arrives and delivers the news: Bulma's crew reached Namek, but Vegeta arrived too. A second message is worse: at least ten additional fighters are with Vegeta, one possessing ki far greater than his, and the ship is destroyed.

Senzu and Departure

At that moment, Yajirobe walks in with seven Senzu Beans from Korin. Goku pops one into his mouth and instantly recovers. He springs out of bed, tears off his bandages, and changes into his fighting gi. He announces he is heading to Namek and explains that Dr. Brief offered to build him a ship from the intact Saiyan pod he arrived in as a baby. Raditz's pod was destroyed, but his own survived and has been modified for the trip, which he claims will take six days. Goku leaps out the window, calls for the Flying Nimbus, and takes off toward Capsule Corporation.
