Vegeta vs. Reacoom, Part 2

A Brutal Aerial Exchange

After being launched by a devastating Recoome Kick, Vegeta recovers in midair and rebounds off the ground to charge back at his opponent. The two fighters trade blows at high speed, and Recoome concedes that Vegeta is more skilled than he initially assumed. However, Recoome connects with a crushing strike to the back of Vegeta's neck, sending the Saiyan prince slamming into the earth. Vegeta narrowly avoids a follow-up punch by springing into the air, but Recoome gives chase immediately.

Outclassed in Every Way

Vegeta fires a ki blast while trying to create distance, but Recoome's speed proves overwhelming. He catches up effortlessly, kicking Vegeta down into the water below and laughing as Krillin and Gohan watch in stunned silence. Vegeta erupts from the water and rams into Recoome's chest, only for Recoome to grab him and hurtle toward the ground, slamming Vegeta into the terrain at the last moment. Recoome pulls the battered Saiyan from the rubble and mockingly asks if he is alright.

A Defiant Blast

Vegeta responds with a point-blank energy blast directly into Recoome's face, knocking him backward and buying a brief moment to recover. Yet even this close-range attack leaves Recoome virtually unscathed. The Ginyu Force warrior is thrilled rather than hurt, declaring that the blast was exactly what he wanted. Burter calls him a narcissist from the sidelines. Recoome taunts Vegeta, asking if he has anything stronger, while Vegeta seethes at being treated like a toy.

Reinforcements on the Horizon

As Recoome prepares to continue the assault, Krillin urges Gohan to charge in alongside him. He understands that if Vegeta falls, they will have no chance of survival against the Ginyu Force. Neither of them realizes that salvation is closer than they think. The Capsule Corporation spaceship carrying Goku is mere moments from touching down on Namek, with only two minutes remaining until arrival.
