Vegeta reveals his dramatically increased power and obliterates Jeice with a single devastating blast. After turning his fury on Captain Ginyu in Goku's stolen body, Vegeta pummels him into the ground. Cornered and desperate, Ginyu attempts the Body Change technique one more time, targeting Vegeta's powerful Saiyan form.
Captain Ginyu, still inhabiting Goku's body, is sent crashing into the hull of Frieza's spaceship after a hit from Gohan. He fires a ki blast at the young half-Saiyan in retaliation, but Gohan blocks it with ease and taunts him. Ginyu cannot understand why this body refuses to generate the power it displayed earlier. Krillin explains what Goku had already warned: Ginyu does not know how to operate someone else's body. Its techniques, its rhythms, its energy channels are all foreign to him. Krillin urges Ginyu to surrender, but the captain refuses and the two begin trading blows.
Across the battlefield, Vegeta and Jeice square off. Jeice is confused that his scouter failed to detect Vegeta hiding nearby. Vegeta mocks Jeice for relying too heavily on the device and tells him to check the reading now. The number shocks Jeice. Vegeta boasts that he is approaching Super Saiyan status, a claim Jeice nervously dismisses. In rapid succession, Vegeta kicks Jeice in the midsection, shatters his armor with a follow-up strike, and then fires a Genocide Breaker that erases Jeice entirely. Everyone present is stunned by the ruthless display. Goku voices his disapproval, saying Vegeta went too far.
Without missing a beat, Vegeta shifts his attention to Ginyu. He batters the captain with a relentless combination of punches and kicks before slamming him into the ground. Goku pleads with Vegeta to hold back, not wanting to see his own body destroyed. Vegeta ignores the request and charges downward for a killing blow. Ginyu, however, begins to laugh. Recognizing that he cannot win in Goku's body against Vegeta, he opens his mouth and initiates the Body Change beam once more, aiming to steal the Saiyan prince's form instead.
