With Namek on the verge of exploding, King Kai and Grand Elder Guru devise a plan to use Porunga's final wish to transport everyone off the planet except Frieza. Goku insists on staying behind to finish the fight. Frieza attempts to wish for immortality but fails because he does not speak Namekian, and Dende completes the wish just in time.
Goku and Frieza clash again, and this time the Super Saiyan has the clear advantage, landing a devastating blow on the tyrant. With all of Frieza's victims on Namek now restored to life, King Kai reaches out telepathically to Grand Elder Guru. Together they devise a plan: Porunga's remaining wish will send every living being on Namek to Earth, leaving only Frieza behind.
Goku overhears their conversation and interrupts. He wants to stay on Namek, determined to settle things with Frieza once and for all. He warns King Kai that he will never forgive him if the wish pulls him away. King Kai and Guru reluctantly agree to modify the plan.
Guru contacts Dende and instructs him to reach Porunga and speak the wish immediately. Elsewhere, Vegeta surveys the chaos around him, briefly believes he is dreaming, and punches himself in the ribs to confirm he is truly alive. Once convinced, he spots Goku and Frieza battling overhead and flies toward them.
Frieza catches sight of Porunga in the distance and breaks away, rocketing toward the dragon to claim immortality. Goku gives chase, and the two trade blows mid-flight. Dende reaches Porunga first, but Frieza shoves Goku aside and screams his wish at the dragon. The attempt fails because Frieza does not speak the Namekian language.
Dende speaks Guru's wish in Namekian, and Porunga agrees to grant it. Frieza, enraged, tries to kill Dende, but the young Namekian vanishes to Earth before the blast connects. Vegeta glimpses Goku's Super Saiyan form before he too disappears. Everyone materializes safely on Earth.
Only Goku and Frieza remain on the dying world. Frieza taunts Goku, pointing out that the planet will explode in minutes. Goku responds calmly: without his friends nearby, he can fight without holding anything back. The two warriors prepare for their final round as Namek crumbles around them.
