Krillin's Last Stand

Frieza presses his foot down on Gohan's head and mockingly asks Vegeta whether he plans to intervene. Vegeta admits he does not care about the boy, but privately wonders what anyone can do against power like this. Inside the medical machine aboard Frieza's spaceship, Goku feels Gohan's ki dropping and realizes he cannot wait for a full recovery.

Just as Frieza prepares to finish Gohan, he senses something incoming and leaps aside. A Destructo Disc slices through the space where he stood, clipping the end of his tail. Frieza spins around and is shocked to see Krillin standing healthy and whole. Krillin launches a rapid chain of Destructo Discs, forcing Frieza to dodge repeatedly.

Frieza quickly closes the distance. Outmatched in speed and strength, Krillin resorts to a Solar Flare, blinding the tyrant with a burst of intense light. He yells for Vegeta to attack while the opening lasts. Vegeta, however, is distracted by the scene below: Dende has his hands on Gohan, pouring healing energy into the wounded fighter.

Reinforcements Arrive

Vegeta angrily demands to know why no one told him about Dende's healing ability. Krillin snaps back that they had no idea either. The brief argument ends when Gohan springs back into the air, fully restored and ready to fight. Frieza is visibly surprised to see the boy he nearly killed now hovering in front of him with renewed determination.

Vegeta observes Gohan's power level with satisfaction, noting that it has climbed even higher than before thanks to the Saiyan trait of growing stronger after recovering from near-fatal injuries. Before anyone can press the advantage, every fighter present senses a powerful energy rapidly approaching from the distance.

Piccolo Steps In

Piccolo touches down on the battlefield, apologizing for the delay. Gohan's face lights up at the sight of his former mentor. With Piccolo's arrival, the balance of power on Namek has shifted once more. The heroes now have a fourth warrior in the fight against Frieza's terrifying second form.
