The Legend Awakens

With Gohan carrying Piccolo's wounded body toward the spaceship, Goku turns his full attention to Frieza. The golden aura surrounding his body crackles with energy so intense that the ground beneath him fractures. Frieza, visibly unnerved by the transformation, demands to know what has happened. Goku says nothing at first, his expression cold and unrecognizable compared to the lighthearted warrior who fought Frieza just minutes earlier. The tyrant dismisses Goku's new appearance as a meaningless trick, insisting that a change in hair color cannot bridge the gap between their power levels.

Frieza's Assault Falls Short

Frieza wastes no time and charges at Goku with a furious combination of strikes. Each blow lands with enough force to level mountains, yet Goku does not flinch. He either blocks or sidesteps every attack with minimal effort, his eyes tracking Frieza's movements as if the tyrant were moving in slow motion. Frieza grows more frantic, increasing his speed and adding ki blasts to his onslaught, but every technique fails to connect cleanly. The contrast is staggering: the same warrior who struggled to hold his own moments ago now treats Frieza's offense as an inconvenience.

A Shift in the Balance

Frustrated beyond measure, Frieza leaps backward and fires a concentrated blast aimed at Goku's chest. Goku swats it aside with the back of his hand, sending the energy spiraling harmlessly into the Namekian sky. For the first time, genuine fear flickers across Frieza's face. He has ruled the universe for decades, and no warrior has ever made him feel this way. Goku finally speaks, telling Frieza that the time for games is over and that what follows will be punishment for every life the tyrant has taken. Frieza grits his teeth and braces himself, refusing to believe that a Saiyan could truly surpass him. The two warriors lock eyes as the battlefield falls silent, the tension thick before their next exchange of blows.
