Vegeta Returns!!!

Vegeta's Arrival

Vegeta appears without warning, catching everyone off guard. Piccolo springs up from the ground, revealing he was only pretending to be defeated. Vegeta calls Goku a fool for fighting as a Super Saiyan while his body was clearly malfunctioning. He kicks Goku forward, and Piccolo catches him. Vegeta tells someone to take Goku home and give him the heart medicine. Yamcha volunteers, reasoning he is the least useful fighter present. Piccolo warns him to take some of the medicine too, since the virus could be contagious. As Yamcha departs carrying Goku, Android 19 moves to pursue, but Android 20 stops him, suggesting they save their strongest opponent for last.

The Prince Transforms

Android 20 declares that the remaining Z Fighters will fall easily. Krillin suggests retreating based on Future Trunks' warning, but Piccolo counters that the timeline has already diverged. He notes that subtle historical changes likely caused Goku's virus to strike at a different time. Android 19 requests permission to kill Vegeta, and 20 grants it. Vegeta tells 19 that the pair are not nearly as powerful as advertised. He acknowledges their palm-based energy absorption, but 19 replies that all of Vegeta's abilities are already in its data. Vegeta declares that Saiyans cannot be reduced to numbers and transforms into a Super Saiyan.

First Blows

The golden aura stuns everyone present. Krillin questions how Vegeta can be a Super Saiyan without a pure heart, and Vegeta responds that his heart is pure evil. He describes enduring brutal training until he hit his absolute limit, and the resulting self-directed rage triggered the transformation. Android 20 insists Vegeta is outmatched, and 19 charges forward with a punch to the face. Vegeta does not flinch. He tells 19 that his ferocity has grown alongside his power, then kicks the android in the chest, follows with an elbow to the face, and delivers another kick that sends 19 flying. Vegeta walks calmly toward the fallen android while 20 watches in horror.
