Krillin confronts the departing androids and learns their mission is simply a game. Android 18 surprises him with a kiss on the cheek before the trio flies off. With the Z Fighters battered and Vegeta gone, Piccolo sets out alone for the Lookout, and the others rush to move Goku before the androids arrive at his house.
The beaten Z Fighters lie in rubble while the androids prepare to leave. Krillin rushes over and asks whether they plan to kill Goku or conquer the world. Android 17 says they will kill Goku first and decide what comes next afterward. Krillin asks why they care about Gero's grudge now that he is dead, and 17 answers that Goku is the strongest being on Earth and hunting him is simply a game. Krillin asks whether begging would help, but Android 16 flatly states they will not stop. Android 17 tells Krillin to go give his friends Senzu Beans. Before leaving, Android 18 leans in and kisses Krillin on the cheek, then the trio flies away.
Krillin feeds Senzu Beans to Piccolo, Tien, Trunks, and Vegeta. Piccolo is alarmed the androids knew about Senzu Beans, and Tien wonders why they left everyone alive. Piccolo says the androids did not consider them worth killing and admits they are far stronger than he imagined. Vegeta, humiliated, flies off without a word. Krillin apologizes for not joining the fight, but Piccolo says it would not have mattered, since even a Super Saiyan went down in an instant. Trunks reveals that these androids are stronger than the ones in his timeline. Piccolo orders the group to move Goku somewhere safe, then flies off alone toward the Lookout.
Krillin tells Tien that Piccolo is likely going to fuse with Kami and become a Super Namekian, proof of how frightened the androids have made him. Tien notes the Dragon Balls will vanish, but Krillin points out they will disappear anyway if either Namekian dies. Vegeta streaks through the sky, swearing the androids will regret letting him live. At Goku's house, Chi-Chi finds the Heart Medicine and Yamcha administers it. Goku begins improving almost immediately. Piccolo reaches Korin Tower, blows past Korin, and ascends to the Lookout, where Kami and Mr. Popo sense his approach. Upon landing, he materializes a new cape and turban, ready for what comes next.
