Gohan settles into his double life, leaving the Flying Nimbus to his younger brother Goten and using the Great Saiyaman costume to fly to school undetected. When Videl receives a police emergency call about armed robbers fleeing on Route 81, Gohan slips out of class to intervene as the Great Saiyaman, arriving just in time to stop a gunman from shooting Videl in the back.
Gohan transforms into his Great Saiyaman outfit before leaving for school. Since he can fly under his own power, he hands off the Flying Nimbus to his younger brother, Goten. After a quick flight, Gohan lands on the school roof and reverts to normal clothes. In the hallway, a fellow student tells him about a new superhero in Satan City, calling him the "Great Tireman." Gohan reflexively corrects the name, then covers by claiming he heard it from a witness.
During class, Videl's wrist communicator buzzes with a police alert. Two armed robbers are fleeing from Randosel Town along Route 81. Videl bolts from the classroom, and the teacher does not try to stop her. Gohan asks Erasa what is happening, and she explains that Videl regularly assists law enforcement, a hobby born from being Mr. Satan's daughter. Sharpner adds that her strength rivals her father's.
Gohan, who knows exactly how limited Mr. Satan's true abilities are, worries that Videl may be in over her head. He fabricates a bathroom excuse and dashes to the rooftop, where he activates his Great Saiyaman transformation and takes off. He quickly realizes he has no idea where Route 81 is and decides to hover until he can sense Videl's ki.
On Route 81, police pursue the robbers at high speed. One criminal fires a rocket launcher at the patrol cars, destroying one. The chase ends when Videl's airplane blocks the road. Videl stands ready with handcuffs, ordering the robbers to surrender. One charges her instead. She launches a kick into his head, dropping him. The ki spike alerts Gohan, who races toward the scene.
Videl dominates the first robber with surprising skill, and Gohan thinks she may actually be stronger than her father. He then spots the second robber aiming a gun at Videl's back. Gohan dives in, knocks the weapon away, and crushes it in his grip. The stunned criminal demands to know who he is.
