Gohan vs. Dabura Continues

Inside Babidi's ship, the battle between Super Saiyan Gohan and Dabura rages on. Gohan throws a barrage of punches, but Dabura blocks and retreats. The Demon King retaliates with a stream of fire, which Gohan dodges before pursuing him again. Gohan strikes several afterimages, and the real Dabura fires an Evil Impulse from a distance, scoring a direct hit that sends Gohan crashing into the surrounding water. He resurfaces and discards his tattered Great Saiyaman outfit, continuing in just his tights.

Goku admits this opponent is stronger than expected. Vegeta dismisses Dabura but notes bitterly that Gohan was more powerful as a child. When Dabura spits at Gohan, the young Saiyan blocks with his glove and tosses it away before it turns to stone. Dabura conjures a massive sword and swings it down, but Gohan catches the blade and snaps it in two.

Dabura's Discovery

Vegeta loses patience and declares he will end the fight himself. Goku insists Gohan is not truly losing, but Vegeta says he does not care. He only entered the tournament to fight Goku, and he wants this distraction dealt with. Dabura notices Vegeta's outburst, stops fighting, and smirks.

Gohan demands to know why Dabura stopped attacking. The Demon King telepathically contacts Babidi and requests they return to the ship, explaining he has discovered something that will guarantee Majin Buu's revival. Babidi transports them back, and Dabura retreats to the lower level. Speaking privately with Babidi, Dabura reveals that one of the spectators harbors a tremendously powerful evil heart. Babidi is thrilled by the idea of turning the warriors against each other to harvest energy, confident that Buu's resurrection is within reach.
