Babidi Takes Control

With Dabura's revelation about Vegeta's hidden darkness, Babidi wastes no time. The wizard identifies Vegeta as the perfect vessel for his Manipulation Sorcery. Babidi channels his magic, targeting the pride and bitterness that Vegeta has buried deep within himself. Despite his immense willpower, Vegeta cannot fully resist the spell because part of him welcomes the darkness. The Saiyan prince's body convulses as the Majin symbol burns onto his forehead, and a violent surge of energy erupts from him.

Goku, Gohan, and Supreme Kai feel the sudden spike in power and realize immediately that something terrible has happened. The energy pouring off Vegeta dwarfs anything he has displayed before, confirming that Babidi's magic has amplified his already considerable strength. Babidi is delighted, declaring that this new pawn will generate more than enough damage energy to fill Majin Buu's revival meter.

Destruction at the Tournament

Babidi teleports Majin Vegeta back to the World Martial Arts Tournament arena, where the crowd is still celebrating Mr. Satan's victory. Without warning, Vegeta fires a devastating blast into the packed stands, killing hundreds of spectators. The stadium erupts in chaos as people scramble to flee. Goku, Gohan, and Supreme Kai are transported back as well, arriving just in time to witness the carnage.

Vegeta stands amid the destruction, calm and focused, his eyes fixed solely on Goku. He tells Goku that he has waited years for this rematch and that he allowed Babidi to take control of him willingly, all so he could obtain the power necessary to settle things once and for all. Goku is horrified by the senseless killing but recognizes the burning determination in Vegeta's eyes. The Saiyan prince makes his demand clear: fight him, or watch more innocent people die. Babidi watches through his crystal ball from below, thrilled that his plan to harvest battle energy is unfolding perfectly.
