Vegeta Speaks His Mind

With the tournament in ruins, all eyes are on Majin Vegeta. Mr. Satan briefly postures before wisely deciding not to interfere. Goku realizes Vegeta allowed Babidi to take control deliberately, seeking greater power. Majin Vegeta fires another blast into the arena, nearly hitting Bulma and the others, sending Goku into a rage. He transforms into a Super Saiyan.

Supreme Kai pleads with the two Saiyans to abandon their grudge match, insisting the fate of the universe is at stake. Vegeta explodes in anger, pouring out years of frustration. Despite being the Prince of all Saiyans, a low-class warrior like Goku has surpassed him repeatedly and even saved his life. For Vegeta, these humiliations are unforgivable, and only defeating Goku can restore his honor.

Goku Clears the Path

Seeing Vegeta will never back down, Goku agrees to fight and demands Babidi transport them somewhere without bystanders. Supreme Kai blocks their path, but Goku warns him not to interfere and begins charging a blast aimed at the deity. Even Vegeta is stunned. After a tense standoff, Supreme Kai relents. Goku lets the energy dissipate and expresses genuine regret as they exchange apologies. Babidi teleports Goku and Vegeta to a remote rocky canyon.

Supreme Kai resolves to reach Majin Buu's sealed ball and destroy it before the battle generates enough revival energy. Babidi orders Majin Vegeta to kill Supreme Kai, but Vegeta refuses, declaring that no sorcery can override a Saiyan's pride. He ejects the wizard from his mind with an explosive burst of energy. Goku gives Gohan a Senzu Bean and tells him to channel his anger as he did against Cell. Gohan and Supreme Kai descend into the ship while Goku and Vegeta power up to Super Saiyan 2, ready for their rematch.
