Buu Overwhelms the Supreme Kai

Majin Buu lands beside the battered Supreme Kai, and Babidi orders him to finish the job. Supreme Kai attempts to push Buu back with his telekinetic abilities, but the monster resists entirely and retaliates with a similar force of his own that sends the Kai skidding violently across the ground. Buu leaps into the air and drops directly onto Supreme Kai's back, sitting on him like a cushion while Babidi mocks the fallen deity and savors the moment.

Gohan Intervenes

Gohan arrives and slams a flying kick into Buu's face, sending him cartwheeling sideways. The impact leaves a clear footprint in Buu's cheek, but the rubbery flesh pops back into shape as though nothing happened. Gohan is stunned that the blow caused zero lasting damage. Buu tells him to get lost and fires a massive energy sphere that launches Gohan far into the distance. Supreme Kai uses his powers to detonate the blast before it fully consumes Gohan, but the Saiyan still plummets unconscious into a distant forest below.

Supreme Kai's Plea

Supreme Kai silently begs Gohan to survive the fall. Babidi, suspicious of interference, questions whether the Kai did something. With Gohan gone from the battlefield, Babidi gives Buu permission to finish off the Supreme Kai once and for all. Buu, however, declares that he is hungry and wants to eat his opponent instead.

Dabura Strikes and the Boys Stumble

Before Buu can act, a spear pierces clean through his back and out his stomach. Dabura warns Babidi that Buu cannot be controlled and will never serve as a loyal subordinate. Babidi is furious at the insubordination. Nearby, Trunks and Goten land on a cliff and suppress their energy to stay hidden. They recognize Supreme Kai from the tournament and then spot the stone figure of Piccolo. Trunks taps the statue curiously, only for it to tip over and shatter on the ground. Both boys panic and flee from the scene.

Buu calmly pulls the spear from his body, and the gaping wound seals shut in seconds. He turns to Dabura with a gleeful grin, promising to eat him next.
