The Extreme Confidence of Gotenks!!

Foolish Theatrics

Gotenks insists he has not gotten serious and rushes at Buu with a barrage of ridiculously named generic attacks. Dynamite Kick, Rolling Thunder Punch, Ultra Missile Parfait, Hyper Plasma Shortcake: each one sounds devastating but accomplishes nothing. Buu backhands the fused warrior across the chamber, and Piccolo covers his eyes in disgust. Gotenks tries to save face, claiming he calculated the counterattack perfectly. Buu declares him weak and boring, announcing he will simply kill him now. Gotenks mutters that Buu has absolutely no idea what is about to happen and transforms into a Super Saiyan. Piccolo is genuinely amazed that the Fusion can sustain the transformation.

Galactic Donut

Gotenks deliberates over which finishing move to use, musing that Buu will die in one shot regardless. He selects the Galactic Donut: a small ring of ki that he sends hovering above Buu, then widens, lowers around Buu's torso, and collapses tight. Piccolo is thrilled as Buu screams and struggles against the binding. Then Buu abruptly stops screaming, says he was only joking, and shatters the ring with ease. Gotenks stands there, stunned.

Mid-Air Collision

Buu charges forward. Gotenks leaps over the attack, but Buu kicks him high into the air, backflips, and hammers him back toward the ground. Gotenks rebounds off the chamber floor and rockets upward again. The two collide in a devastating mid-air headbutt that finally hurts Buu, though Gotenks takes serious damage himself. Defiant and bruised, Gotenks flips Buu off and declares he will finish this for real. Piccolo starts to believe the boy might actually pull it off.

Gotenks charges up his energy and announces his greatest technique: the Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack. He spits out a translucent ghost replica of himself that hovers in the air, waves its arms, and introduces itself with a cheerful greeting. Piccolo stares at the apparition with no idea what he is looking at.
