Aftermath on Sacred Ground

The Supreme Kais confirm through their crystal ball that Earth is gone. Mr. Satan insists the old man is talking nonsense, convinces himself everything is a dream, and jumps off a cliff to test whether he can fly. He crashes. Vegeta seethes over Goku's choice to save Mr. Satan instead of their sons, then raises a devastating point: the Dragon Balls were destroyed with the Earth. Dende lights up with an idea. Planet Namek's Elder surely created a new set of Dragon Balls. If they reach New Namek, they can wish everything back.

A Deal with Old Kai

Goku cannot sense Namekian ki from the Sacred World, and they have no ship. Kibito Kai offers his inherited teleportation, which reaches any planet without needing a ki signature. Old Kai objects to overusing Dragon Balls, but Goku bribes him with the promise of a photo of a curvaceous woman. Vegeta, overhearing, furiously asks if Goku means Bulma and scolds him for not volunteering Chi-Chi. Goku sheepishly says Chi-Chi would kill him for asking.

Buu Follows

Kibito Kai spots Kid Buu reforming where Earth was. Old Kai pushes for Potara, but Goku declines: he wants to fight with his own power. Vegeta crushes his earring, calling it the Saiyan way. Goku assures everyone Buu cannot find them here. Kid Buu grins and vanishes, reappearing on the Sacred World after copying Kibito Kai's technique in an instant.

Super Saiyan 3 Unleashed

Goku asks Kibito Kai to evacuate the others. They teleport to a lush planet, setting up Old Kai's crystal ball to observe. Goku and Vegeta settle who fights first with rock-paper-scissors. Goku wins. He transforms into Super Saiyan 3, and the shockwave jolts Buu awake. Buu howls and pounds his chest. Goku stares and calls him a weirdo. Kibito Kai realizes they forgot Mr. Satan on the sacred planet. Old Kai does not care. Behind a rock, Mr. Satan watches the battle about to begin.
