God of Destruction's Premonition

A Quiet Life on Earth

Four years after the titanic struggle against Majin Buu, Goku finds himself in an unlikely setting: a farm field. Chi-Chi has insisted that he contribute to the family income, so he plows the land with a tractor while Goten brings him lunch. As Goku eats, Goten takes over driving duties. Once he finishes his meal, Goku closes his eyes, transforms into a Super Saiyan, and visualizes himself battling Frieza, Cell, and Kid Buu one after another. His imaginary fight is cut short when Goten nearly drives the tractor off a cliff, forcing Goku to rescue both his son and the vehicle. Shortly after, Mr. Satan arrives with an unexpected offer.

Beerus Awakens to a Memory

In a far corner of the universe, Beerus sits before a lavish feast prepared by insectoid aliens desperate to save their world from destruction. The food has been laced with poison, but the toxin has absolutely no effect on the God of Destruction. True to his word, Beerus obliterates the entire planet. However, one particular dish stirs a buried memory. The flavor reminds him of something connected to a figure called the Super Saiyan God, a being he glimpsed in a prophetic dream. Intrigued, Beerus tells Whis that they need to return to his own planet so he can recall more details about the vision.

Satan's Gift and the Kais' Concern

Back on Earth, Mr. Satan reveals that he received the World Peace Award along with a prize of 100 million Zeni. Feeling undeserving of the honor, he offers the entire sum to Goku. Goku initially refuses, arguing that Satan also played a role in defeating Kid Buu. Goten quickly points out that the money could convince Chi-Chi to let Goku resume training on King Kai's planet. That argument wins Goku over. Meanwhile, on the Sacred World of the Kai, Kibito Kai and Old Kai detect that a planet has vanished from existence. They recognize the handiwork of the God of Destruction, and their unease grows.
