Goku vs. Botamo

A Wall That Cannot Be Broken

The first match of the Universe 6 vs. Universe 7 tournament pits Goku against Botamo. Goku proves faster and more skilled from the opening exchange, slipping past every counterattack with ease. However, after landing a direct Kamehameha, he discovers Botamo has taken zero damage. Master Roshi observes that neither Botamo's health nor stamina is depleting, while Champa watches with smug satisfaction. Piccolo and Vegeta realize that even a Super Saiyan transformation would not solve the problem: no attack inflicts harm, and Goku's stamina will deplete long before Botamo's does.

Brain Over Brawn

Mid-fight, Goku strikes on an unconventional solution. He shoves Botamo to the ground, grabs him by the legs, and drags him toward the edge. Enter Frost

Goku's next opponent is Frost, whom Bulma calls the polar opposite of Frieza after Frost politely extends his hand. Their match begins at blistering speed, too fast for most spectators to follow. Goku holds the edge and tells Frost to transform, recognizing similarities to Frieza. Frost shifts into what he calls his final form, though Vegeta, Piccolo, and Krillin recognize it as intermediate. As Frost presses forward, Vados declares him the strongest in Universe 6, yet Goku shrugs off a direct blow and reveals he is a slow starter. Sensing Frost is hiding another level of power, Goku transforms into Super Saiyan, stunning the Universe 6 contingent. He urges Frost to show his true form, and Frost obliges, triggering a wave of nostalgia as the real battle begins.
