Frost unleashes his true final form against Super Saiyan Goku, but a hidden poison needle turns the tide. After cheating his way past both Goku and Piccolo, Frost is exposed by Jaco and disqualified, prompting Vegeta to demand the chance to personally punish the fraud.
With Frost in his true final form and Goku powered up as a Super Saiyan, the second phase begins. Frost opens with a barrage of Ki Blasts, but Goku deflects every one and catches Frost's hands mid-charge, kicking him across the ring. A fierce aerial exchange follows, with Goku knocking Frost toward the ground and countering his Kiai with one of his own, blasting Frost dangerously close to the edge. Old Kai observes that the tables have turned. Despite refusing to forfeit, Frost cannot land a clean hit. Goku tells him the fight is over and encourages him to keep training, just as Frieza did, so they can have a worthy rematch.
Frost smirks and throws one last punch. Goku blocks with his forearm, but his body suddenly goes limp on contact. Frost capitalizes with a kick that sends the Saiyan out of the ring unconscious. Chi-Chi rushes to his side. Goku is confused when he comes to, congratulating Frost despite not understanding what happened. Piccolo enters next with orders to wear Frost down for Vegeta. After removing his weighted clothing, Piccolo fights fiercely at high speed, but Frost eventually lands a punch that causes the same crippling paralysis, knocking Piccolo out of bounds.
Jaco leaps up and accuses Frost of hiding a weapon. The referee discovers a small needle laced with poison inside a hole in Frost's wrist; one accidental prick sends the referee collapsing in a daze. Frost is disqualified and Piccolo is awarded the win. Champa berates Frost for the humiliation, but Frost drops his polite facade, saying he does not care since no prize money is on the line. As Frost turns to leave, Vegeta stops him and insists the disqualification be reversed so he can beat Frost himself, declaring that cheaters deserve a proper thrashing.
