Vegeta forces the young Universe 6 Saiyan Cabba to awaken his Super Saiyan form through calculated cruelty, then knocks him out with a single Super Saiyan Blue strike. When the legendary assassin Hit enters the ring, he dismantles Vegeta with an invisible technique that even Jaco cannot follow.
Cabba opens with clever tactics, using teleportation, leg sweeps, and the sun's glare to pressure Vegeta. Krillin and Master Roshi praise his strategy. Vegeta recovers with a smirk, dodges an energy wave, and kicks Cabba to the ground. He tells Cabba to transform into a Super Saiyan, but the young warrior admits he has never even seen the form. When Cabba politely asks for instruction, Vegeta transforms and begins pummeling him mercilessly. Bulma watches in horror. When Cabba tries to surrender, Vegeta grabs his collar, threatens to kill him, hurls him skyward, and fires his Galaxy Breaker while vowing to destroy Planet Sadala and every Universe 6 Saiyan. Driven to fury, Cabba blocks the blast with an Energy Shield and transforms into a Super Saiyan for the first time. He attacks Vegeta relentlessly until the prince tells him this was the goal all along: the transformation is born from rage.
Vegeta transforms into Super Saiyan Blue, stunning everyone. Even Hit opens both eyes for the first time. Vegeta tells Cabba to keep training, then ends the fight with a single elbow strike. Piccolo explains that Vegeta trained Cabba out of instinct as the Saiyan prince. Cabba, regaining consciousness, thanks Vegeta, who reminds him never to forget Saiyan pride.
Hit enters the ring. Vegeta powers up to Super Saiyan Blue and charges, but Hit counters with strikes so fast no one can perceive them. Jaco explains that Hit vanishes for an instant each time he attacks. Vegeta is beaten unconscious without Hit taking a single blow. The Galactic King identifies the technique as Time-Skip, a 0.1-second suspension of time, but declines to arrest Hit out of self-preservation. With no advice from Vegeta, Goku stretches and steps up. Hit speaks for the first time, suggesting Goku transform. Goku declines to conserve stamina, and after taking a hit, grins and says he may have already found the answer.
