Zamasu accompanies Gowasu to observe Planet Babari and learns about the Time Rings, but his contempt for mortals leads him to kill a Babarian in cold blood. Back on Earth, the group plans their move against Goku Black, while Zamasu discovers Goku through GodTube and begins harboring resentment toward the mortal Saiyan.
Zamasu and Gowasu travel to Planet Babari, where Zamasu watches the Babarians with open disgust at their savage behavior. Gowasu remains optimistic and introduces Zamasu to the Time Rings, noting a mysterious fourth ring has appeared, suggesting someone has altered history. To enable their journey, Gowasu temporarily promotes Zamasu to Supreme Kai by lending him a Potara earring, carefully placed on the same ear to avoid triggering a permanent fusion.
They leap 1,000 years into the future and discover the Babarians have built a civilization, though one even more brutal than before. When one attacks from behind, Zamasu kills it in cold blood, ignoring Gowasu's direct order to leave. Back in the present, Gowasu scolds him harshly. Zamasu questions the cycle of life and argues that corrupt beings deserve elimination. Gowasu reminds him that destruction falls to the God of Destruction, not a Supreme Kai. Troubled by doubts about his role and his strength, Zamasu apologizes and retreats to prepare tea.
At Capsule Corporation, the group plays a go-kart game. Beerus loses to a turtle shell from Trunks and destroys his controller in a fury. Future Trunks asks to join the fight against Goku Black, and Vegeta agrees to train him. While Vegeta spars with Future Trunks in the gravity room and Goku meditates outside, Shin arrives. Beerus questions him about any Supreme Kai sympathetic to mortal extinction. Whis then receives a transmission: Zeno wants to see Goku. Beerus panics and insists Goku go immediately while keeping the Goku Black crisis secret. Shin teleports Goku and Whis to Zeno's Palace.
In Universe 10, Zamasu watches Goku's fight against Hit from the Tournament of Destroyers on GodTube. As he studies the mortal with power rivaling the gods, a quiet and dangerous disdain takes root.
