An Audience with the Omni-King

Goku, Shin, and Whis arrive at Zeno's Palace and follow the Grand Minister through its corridors. Whis admits that even he pales in comparison to the Grand Minister's strength, and warns that if Zeno learns about Goku Black, the entire universe could be erased. Zeno's request is disarmingly simple: he wants Goku as a friend. Goku casually chats with the Omni-King, gives him a nickname, and nearly causes Shin to faint. When Goku asks to postpone their playdate, Zeno's attendants move to intervene, but Zeno threatens to annihilate them if they interfere, instantly cowing them into silence. Before parting, Zeno hands Goku a special button that will summon the Omni-King to Goku's location whenever pressed. The Grand Minister praises Goku's character as the group departs.

Zamasu's Scheme Uncovered

In Universe 10, Zamasu slips away from Gowasu and visits Zuno's Planet. Threatening the all-knowing oracle with his Supreme Kai authority, he forces Zuno to reveal that the Super Dragon Balls require roughly one year before they can be used again, then demands the exact location of each sphere. Back on Earth, Kibito and Old Kai bring urgent news from Zuno: Zamasu questioned him about swapping bodies between a god and a mortal using the Super Dragon Balls. The group also learns Zamasu asked specifically about Goku. They deduce that Goku Black is a Zamasu from another timeline who killed his master, claimed a Time Ring, and traveled to a future where the God of Destruction and Z Fighters no longer exist.

Journey to the Future

Beerus and Whis head to Universe 10 to deal with Zamasu directly, while Goku, Vegeta, and Future Trunks board the Time Machine. Upon arrival in the alternate timeline, Future Trunks discovers Future Mai alive and revives her with a chewed Senzu Bean delivered mouth to mouth. Vegeta orders Future Trunks to guard Mai and the Time Machine, then flies off with Goku to confront Black. Goku Black is stunned to see them, and Vegeta claims the first fight, relishing the chance to pummel someone wearing Goku's face.
