The exhibition match between the Gods of Destruction reaches its climax as Belmod, Rumsshi, and others unleash devastating techniques. The Grand Minister cancels the bout when the Zenos grow bored, then arranges a mortal demonstration: Goku versus Top, Universe 11's God of Destruction candidate, under strict combat rules.
Belmod encases his fellow destroyers in Imprisonment Balls and hurls cards of concentrated energy at them. Liquiir breaks free with his Tail Energy Cannon Barrage, but Heles exploits the opening and pierces his arm with an energy bow. Rumsshi unleashes his Battle Roar, paralyzing the motor nerves of everyone within earshot. Whis explains that Supreme Kai-level beings simply pass out, and Shin collapses in the stands. Even the other destroyers are slowed, and Rumsshi presses forward. The Zenos complain they cannot follow the action. Beerus and Quitela emerge as the final two, but just before they clash the Grand Minister stops both fists with a single finger each, cancelling the match.
The Zenos consider scrapping the tournament and erasing the universes outright. Goku argues that a mortal fight would be far easier to follow, and Zeno agrees to a demonstration. The Grand Minister pairs Goku against Top with strict rules: no flying, no weapons, no killing, and ring-outs decide the winner.
Goku opens in Super Saiyan but cannot land a hit. Instructed to show all five forms, he cycles through Super Saiyan 2, then Super Saiyan 3, which finally impresses the audience. Still, Top absorbs every blow. Goku escalates to Super Saiyan God, drawing praise even from the destroyers, and Top responds with the aura of a god he learned from Belmod. Beerus orders one final transformation, and Goku shifts to Perfected Super Saiyan Blue for a decisive strike, but Top counters and kicks him off the stage. After the match, Top admits Goku's final blow could have changed the result, then reveals he is only the second strongest in Universe 11. The strongest, a warrior named Jiren, surpasses even Belmod in combat skill.
