In Universe 6, Cabba recruits the rogue Saiyan Caulifla by demonstrating Super Saiyan, while the quiet Kale reveals surprising power. Back in Universe 7, Krillin exposes Goku's prize money lie, Bulma agrees to pay fighters herself, and Goku recruits Frieza from Hell as the controversial tenth warrior. The full team departs for the arena.
On Planet Sadala, Cabba searches for fighters on Champa's orders. He enters territory controlled by Caulifla, a brash Saiyan outlaw whose gang robs supply convoys bound for the king. When soldiers drive through her turf, Caulifla stops their vehicle and her underlings unload the cargo. One soldier reaches for a gun, but Kale snatches and crushes it before he can fire. Cabba catches up with Caulifla at her hideout and proposes she join the tournament. She refuses until Cabba transforms into Super Saiyan and overwhelms her, explaining that Universe 7's Saiyans push the form even further. Intrigued, Caulifla agrees.
At Capsule Corporation, Krillin confronts Goku about the fake prize money. He and Android 18 threaten to pull out, but Bulma defuses the crisis by offering to pay them and Master Roshi herself. With nine warriors secured, the group needs a tenth. Beerus grumbles that every candidate is from Earth. When Old Kai hears about the Frieza Force's destruction, Goku gets an idea: have Fortuneteller Baba revive Frieza for twenty-four hours. Vegeta calls it idiotic, but Goku counters that he already lost to Top and Universe 11 has someone even stronger. He travels to Hell and makes the offer.
In Universe 6, Cabba, Caulifla, and Kale journey through space. Caulifla boasts that mastering Super Saiyan came easily and she must be more talented than Universe 7's Saiyans.
Morning arrives at Capsule Corporation with no sign of Goku or Frieza. The team worries until both fighters appear, battered from sparring. Piccolo hands them Senzu Beans. Frieza reveals he trained through thousands of mental simulations in Hell and has grown even stronger. His condition for joining: full resurrection after the tournament. Beerus delivers final instructions, stressing teamwork and stamina conservation. Whis signals the Grand Minister, and the ten warriors depart as Bulma watches from below.
