Universe Survival! The Tournament of Power Begins!!

Assembling on the Stage

The fighters of Universe 7 arrive on the Tournament of Power arena in the Null Realm. Krillin warns about ring-outs, but Vegeta scoffs, assuming they can fly. Whis corrects him: the arena's gravity has been modified so that combatants without natural wings cannot take flight. The Universe 6 team appears next. Goku and Hit exchange words about a potential rematch, while Cabba introduces Caulifla and bows to Vegeta, the man who taught him to become a Super Saiyan. Nearby, Frieza and Frost bond over their shared love of tyranny and agree to cooperate.

Jiren's Cold Dismissal

Goku senses the towering presence of Jiren and approaches to greet him. Jiren dismisses Goku as an eyesore and walks away without another word. Belmod and Khai, observing from the Universe 11 bench, declare that no one in the tournament poses a genuine threat to their fighter. The Grand Minister then appears with Zeno and Future Zeno. Beerus orders his team to fight as if their lives depend on it, and Shin stresses teamwork. Gohan notices Universe 4 appears short on fighters, and Tien confirms he can sense a hidden presence among them.

The Battle Royal Erupts

The Grand Minister announces the start and chaos breaks loose. Android 17 targets Universe 10, knocking Murisam off immediately and overwhelming Dium. Frieza finishes off a clinging Rubalt by stomping on his hand. Android 18 launches Prum into Jimizu, sending both off the edge. Vegeta appears between Nink and Catopesra and blasts them both into the void. Goku tries to reach Jiren but collides with six Pride Troopers instead. Tupper locks him in a hold, forcing Goku to go Super Saiyan to break free and scatter the squad. Jiren leaves the area without acknowledging him. Meanwhile, Frieza tells Frost to save his energy and asks him to eliminate Universe 7's three weakest humans. Frieza claims he has no interest in winning; he intends to settle things with the Saiyans personally.
