Stolen Dragon Balls

Manga ChapterCh. 47

Moro closes in on the final Dragon Ball as Goku and Vegeta prepare for a rematch they may not survive. Merus intercepts Moro's ship and temporarily restrains him while Good Buu arrives on the surface. When the Grand Supreme Kai's memories stir within him, Buu attacks Moro with startling ferocity, and his unique body proves immune to the sorcerer's energy absorption.

Hunting the Last Ball

Moori is devastated by the loss of the fused Namekian warrior. Vegeta notes that Moro has grown even stronger during their recovery. Goku observes that Moro tracks the Dragon Balls by sensing Namekian energy, just as Frieza once did, and suggests the survivors flee their villages and suppress their power. At Tsuburi's village, Cranberry hunts for the ball while Moro pinpoints the correct building. On Earth, Dende senses a terrible disturbance on his homeworld from the Lookout, and Piccolo wonders if the Saiyans are involved. Moro now holds six balls and heads for the seventh, which lies near the Saiyan camp.

Vegeta's Debt

Sensing Moro, Goku moves to intercept. Vegeta follows but pauses to ask Moori how the elder feels about him, given his role in the destruction of Tsuno's village years ago. Moori says the act cannot be forgotten, but the Namekians hold no grudges; they only wish for their planet to survive. Vegeta tells Goku that if he survives, he must see to it that the planet is restored.

Merus Intervenes, Buu Arrives

Moro finds the two Saiyans still alive and moves to finish them. Before he can, a Galactic Patrol vessel cuts in. Merus shoots the wings off Moro's craft, and Irico gives chase as Merus fires a binding substance that encases Moro, trapping him briefly. Jaco and Good Buu tumble from the ship; Buu had fallen asleep from motion sickness but eventually wakes. Jaco explains that a Patrol medium unlocked the Grand Supreme Kai's old memories within Buu, granting him the ability to seal Moro's magic.

Upon seeing Moro, Buu is flooded with the Kai's fury over fallen comrades. He barrels through a wall of fire, lands a crushing blow, and presses the attack relentlessly. Vegeta points out that Buu's energy is not dropping at all: Moro's absorption has no effect on him.
