Spirit Control on Yardrat

Vegeta and Irico land on Planet Yardrat to a surprised crowd. Shorter, rounder Yardrats mistake Irico for Vegeta and express gratitude for the defeat of the Ginyu Force. When Vegeta asks who taught Goku Instant Transmission, one Yardrat makes the entire crowd vanish, revealing he had been using clones the whole time. He explains the race uses duplication to discourage hostile visitors and leads Vegeta to Elder Pybara. After hearing about Moro, Pybara reveals the Yardrats devote themselves to one discipline: Spirit Control, their term for ki manipulation. Abilities like Instant Transmission, Cloning, and Gigantification all stem from this single art.

Piccolo Defends Earth

The Galactic King suggests recruiting new warriors and asks Jaco about Piccolo. At the Lookout, Piccolo tries to contact New Namek telepathically, unaware it has been destroyed. The Macareni Gang arrives on Earth hunting Blue Aurum, but Piccolo intercepts their ship, dodges its weapons, and ties them up. Bulma arrives with news that Jaco wants to draft Piccolo into the Galactic Patrol. Piccolo interrogates the gang and releases them after they pose as harmless travelers. Dende arrives and warns him they are connected to the crisis. Piccolo shoots down their ship and recaptures them, but they have already signaled Saganbo, who sends a scouting party to investigate Earth.

Into the Time Chamber

On a distant planet, Merus spars with Goku using a staff and dominates the exchange. Goku confesses that Ultra Instinct requires emptying his mind, but his emotions flare during combat. Merus acknowledges he already knows Goku is pursuing Ultra Instinct and leads him inside a pyramid housing the Galactic Patrol's own Hyperbolic Time Chamber, where each real-world day equals three days inside and Merus can fight at full power undetected.
