Goku and Moro collide in a clash that tests Ultra Instinct Sign to its limit. Goku lands blow after blow, sees through Moro's illusion sorcery, and avoids energy absorption. But when Moro unleashes reserves gained from devouring countless worlds, Goku's stamina buckles and the form shatters, forcing him to acknowledge its weakness before powering up for a desperate second round.
Aboard Saganbo's ship, Shimorekka senses the battle below. On the ground, Piccolo and Gohan stare as Goku stands in Ultra Instinct Sign, now accessible at will. Moro expresses surprise that a mortal could achieve a divine technique. From a standstill, Goku unleashes punches so powerful the air pressure alone forces Moro to guard. Moro retaliates with small energy blasts, but Goku rockets skyward to dodge before closing in. Moro briefly freezes Goku with telekinetic magic. On distant Yardrat, Vegeta senses the battle.
Goku tells Gohan and Piccolo to fall back. They inform him the Earth Dragon Balls are gathered, so he can fight without restraint. Goku feints a Divine Kamehameha at a decoy, then pivots and fires at the real Moro hiding behind an illusion. Moro barely blocks. Their brawl shifts to the sky, Goku holding the advantage until Moro uses telekinesis to pull him close. Both land simultaneous gut shots. Piccolo warns that Moro has not tapped his absorption yet. When Moro tries, Goku's reflexes let him slip free and graze Moro's cheek.
On Beerus' Planet, Whis asks Merus whether Goku can reach the perfected state. Merus hesitates. Back on Earth, Moro reveals the vast reserves he gained from consuming planets and erupts with terrifying power. Goku drops out of Ultra Instinct Sign. Moro deduces the form cannot be held for long. Merus confirms Goku only reached the Sign level; Whis explains that it burns stamina rapidly. Moro taunts Goku, but Goku fires back: if Moro was stalling, he cannot beat Goku at full power. With renewed resolve, Goku reignites Ultra Instinct Sign for round two.
