Son Goku, Earthling

Manga ChapterCh. 65

Goku offers Moro mercy in exchange for returning to prison, but the villain betrays the deal and absorbs the fallen angel Merus's power. As Moro's untrained body buckles under angelic energy, the battle spirals toward catastrophe. In desperation, Moro fuses with the Earth itself, turning the planet into both a hostage and a ticking bomb.

Mercy and Betrayal

With Moro beaten and pinned beneath rubble, Goku destroys the debris and tells him to stand. Krillin arrives with Senzu Beans, and Goku offers Moro a deal: return to the Galactic Prison and never escape again. Despite the horror of Krillin and Jaco, Goku tosses a Senzu to the sorcerer, healing his injuries. Moro immediately breaks his word and tries to pierce Goku's chest, only to shatter his own arm against the Saiyan's body. Goku reverts to base form and tells Moro he could have grown stronger through training rather than devouring worlds. Moro scoffs, calling training a pursuit for weaklings.

Merus's Power Stolen

Jaco urges Goku to end Moro, but the sorcerer spots his severed arm behind Goku and summons it back. Because the arm absorbed Merus before the angel's erasure, reattaching it grants Moro angelic abilities. His body transforms, energy orbs restored across his frame. He strikes Goku, steals the remaining Senzu Beans, and crushes them. Whis shields Jaco and Krillin inside a barrier as the combatants trade explosive blows. Goku lures Moro skyward to spare the planet, and they race across the globe exchanging attacks.

A Body Unfit for Godly Power

Moro's arm swells enormously as his body struggles to contain the angelic energy. Goku presses the advantage as Moro's torso distorts, reminding him of the fate Saganbo suffered from forced power. Goku warns Moro to release the stolen energy before it tears him apart. Whis tells Goku to deliver the killing blow immediately. As Goku moves in, Moro's disfigured face erupts from the ground and fires a surprise blast. The attack does little, but the real horror follows: Moro has merged with the planet itself. Whis reveals that killing him now means destroying Earth, and his unstable body has become a bomb capable of erasing the galaxy. Moro laughs, declaring this to be Goku's end.
