Moro, fused with the Earth, drains energy from every living creature while threatening a galaxy-ending explosion. The Z Fighters channel their power through Vegeta, but it falls short. Salvation arrives from an unexpected source: a boy named Uub, whose godly energy lets Goku manifest a colossal Ultra Instinct avatar and shatter Moro's crystal.
Gohan and the Z Fighters feel the ground draining their energy as Moro absorbs life from everything on the surface. Vegeta orders everyone airborne. Moro summons fists from the earth to pummel Goku, while Whis notes his energy is approaching a threshold that will destroy the galaxy. Beerus considers intervening, but Whis receives a summons from the Grand Minister. Before departing, Whis tells Goku the key: shattering the crystal on Moro's forehead will release Merus's power and defeat Moro without destroying Earth.
Vegeta arrives in Super Saiyan God SS Evolved and uses Forced Spirit Fission, punching the ground to peel away Moro's absorbed energy. He urges Goku to strike quickly. Goku charges through waves of earthen fists but falls short and is ensnared, dropping to base form. Piccolo suggests Vegeta reverse his technique to channel energy into Goku. Piccolo, Gohan, Yamcha, Tien, Krillin, and Chiaotzu pour everything they have into Vegeta. Dende rallies the Lookout, and Goten and Trunks contribute from Monster Island. The combined transfer only restores Goku to Super Saiyan Blue, still not enough.
Goku drops to base form again as Moro loses his mind and begins self-destructing. An enormous sphere of godly energy arrives from Uub, a boy in a remote village, guided by the Grand Supreme Kai re-emerging through Buu. Vegeta channels this divine power to Goku, who reawakens Perfected Ultra Instinct and manifests a titanic energy avatar towering over Moro. Goku leaps from the construct and shatters the crystal with a single punch. Moro crumbles and is consumed by a massive explosion. Goku gives his friends a triumphant thumbs-up.
